1968 Corvette 427 Dual Exhaust System – OEM Style Reproduction
This dual exhaust system is designed for 1968 Corvettes with the 427 engine and features 2.5-inch front and rear pipes with dual 2.5-inch outlet mufflers. Available in aluminized or stainless steel, it’s built to match original factory specs. Optional turbo mufflers and clamp/hanger kits are also available.

Bring your big-block Corvette back to life with this 1968 C3 Corvette 427 Engine Dual Exhaust System—a premium reproduction built to match original factory specifications. Designed for OEM fitment and tone, this system is ideal for restorers and enthusiasts looking to maintain an authentic sound, appearance, and exhaust flow for their classic C3 Stingray.
Crafted in either aluminized steel or 409/304 stainless steel, this dual exhaust setup delivers durability, factory routing, and the performance tone expected from a 427ci V8. Whether you're restoring or refreshing, this system provides the confidence of quality construction with true-to-original styling.
Standard Kit Includes:- Left & Right Front Exhaust Pipes – 2.5" diameter
- Left & Right Rear Exhaust Pipes – 2.5" diameter
- Mufflers – 2.5" inlet / dual 2.5" outlet for stock tone and flow
Stainless steel systems are made to order and require 4–6 weeks to fabricate. Compression-bent tubing ensures factory-style fit and finish.

Minor imperfections may be visible due to the hand-fabrication process. This system is intended for street use, local shows, and restorations—not concours-level builds.
Fitment Notes – OEM Manifold Required:This system is built specifically for use with OEM exhaust manifolds. If using headers or oversized components, front pipes must be cut and modified. In such cases, the system is sold as-is and not covered by warranty.
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Return & Warranty Policy:Due to increased material and labor costs, we do not offer refunds. We stand behind our craftsmanship and offer complimentary re-bending for incorrectly fabricated systems if:
- OEM manifolds were used
- Accurate vehicle information was provided at time of order
- Request must be made within 14 days of delivery
- System must be unused, unmodified, and in original packaging
- Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee
- Customer is responsible for errors due to inaccurate order info

Shipping
We utilize UPS, Fedex, and USPS for all of our shipping needs. Carrier choice is based upon availability and needs of the customer and is the sole discretion of SouthernCarParts. We always try to ship within 24 hours of order placement (do to the custom nature of some products, shipping within 24 hours is impossible, actual shipping time frames will be listed in the product description). Please keep in mind that some products such as Custom Fit Car Covers, Lloyds Floor Mats, Painted accessories, and Racemesh Products can take 3 -10 days to ship and are charged at time of order placement. Racemesh products take 4 weeks to ship as they are made to order.
Returns
Should you need to return a part for refund, exchange, or credit, please contact our returns department within 30 days of purchase at orders@southerncarparts.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Most problems, such as installation, can be solved with a telephone call (888-631-1433). Southern Car Parts will not accept returned goods without prior authorization and an RMA# written clearly on the exterior of the box. The customer is responsible for freight on all return orders. Parts authorized to be returned, on a non-exchange basis, are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the original date of shipment. Custom painted parts - Once these parts are started, we can refund you less the paint(chemicals) that have been used. Exception is rear spoilers and front splitters, we can refund less 20%.
Custom-made-to-order items are NOT returnable. This includes embroidered floor mats, interior embroidered items, and car covers.
Damages in Shipping
All damages from shipping must be reported to Southern Car Parts within two business days from tracking number delivery confirmation. After two business days, damages become the responsibility of the customer.
