This dual exhaust system is designed for 1971 Corvettes with the 350 SHP engine. It includes 2", 2-1/4", and 2-1/2" pipes with OEM-style mufflers. Available in stainless or aluminized steel.

Give your C3 Corvette the classic sound and factory-style performance it was born with using this 1971 C3 Corvette 350 (Special High Performance) Engine Dual Exhaust System. Designed specifically for small block Corvettes equipped with the L48 or L82 (SHP) engine, this system is handcrafted to OEM specifications for a precise fit, period-correct appearance, and authentic tone.
Fabricated using premium stainless or aluminized steel, this system is perfect for weekend drivers, local car shows, or enthusiast restorations.
Standard Kit Includes:- Left & Right Front Exhaust Pipes
- Front section: 2" diameter
- Rear section: 2-1/4" diameter
- Left & Right Rear Exhaust Pipes – 2-1/2" diameter
- Mufflers – 2-1/2" inlet / 2" outlet (OEM-style tone)
Note: Stainless steel systems take approximately 4–6 weeks to fabricate. All tubing is compression bent to follow original GM routing.
Optional Upgrades:- Turbo Mufflers – Produces a deeper, more aggressive exhaust tone
- Universal Clamp & Hanger Kit – Made from mild steel
- Tubing: 14–16 gauge

All pipes are conventionally bent (not mandrel-bent) to match factory standards. Minor fabrication imperfections are expected and acceptable for local show quality.
Important Fitment Notes:- Built specifically for OEM exhaust manifolds
- If using headers or oversized piping, front pipes must be cut and modified
- These systems are sold as-is if altered for non-factory applications and are not covered under warranty
Professional installation is recommended for best fitment and final alignment.
Return & Warranty Policy:We do not offer refunds due to material and labor costs. However, we do offer complimentary re-bending if your system was incorrectly fabricated and the following conditions are met:
- You're using OEM exhaust manifolds
- You provided correct and complete vehicle information at the time of order
- Request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery
- System must be unused, unmodified, and in original packaging
- A 15% restocking fee applies
- Customer is responsible for any fitment issues caused by incorrect vehicle information

Shipping
We utilize UPS, Fedex, and USPS for all of our shipping needs. Carrier choice is based upon availability and needs of the customer and is the sole discretion of SouthernCarParts. We always try to ship within 24 hours of order placement (do to the custom nature of some products, shipping within 24 hours is impossible, actual shipping time frames will be listed in the product description). Please keep in mind that some products such as Custom Fit Car Covers, Lloyds Floor Mats, Painted accessories, and Racemesh Products can take 3 -10 days to ship and are charged at time of order placement. Racemesh products take 4 weeks to ship as they are made to order.
Returns
Should you need to return a part for refund, exchange, or credit, please contact our returns department within 30 days of purchase at orders@southerncarparts.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Most problems, such as installation, can be solved with a telephone call (888-631-1433). Southern Car Parts will not accept returned goods without prior authorization and an RMA# written clearly on the exterior of the box. The customer is responsible for freight on all return orders. Parts authorized to be returned, on a non-exchange basis, are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the original date of shipment. Custom painted parts - Once these parts are started, we can refund you less the paint(chemicals) that have been used. Exception is rear spoilers and front splitters, we can refund less 20%.
Custom-made-to-order items are NOT returnable. This includes embroidered floor mats, interior embroidered items, and car covers.
Damages in Shipping
All damages from shipping must be reported to Southern Car Parts within two business days from tracking number delivery confirmation. After two business days, damages become the responsibility of the customer.
