This dual exhaust system is designed for 1973 Corvettes with the 350 (SHP) engine. It includes front and rear pipes and OEM-style mufflers. Built to factory specs and available in aluminum or aluminum or stainless steel.

Bring back the deep, factory-correct sound of your L82-powered Corvette with this 1973 C3 Corvette 350 (Special High Performance) Engine Dual Exhaust System. Designed specifically for 1973 Corvettes equipped with the 350 (SHP) engine, this system is crafted to OEM specifications and delivers the aggressive tone and performance your classic Corvette deserves.
Available in aluminized or stainless steel, each system is handcrafted using premium materials and time-tested fabrication techniques to give your C3 Corvette an authentic look, fit, and sound.
Standard Kit Includes:- Left & Right Front Exhaust Pipes
- Front section: 2-inch diameter
- Rear section: 2-1/4 inch diameter
- Left & Right Rear Exhaust Pipes – 2-1/2 inch diameter
- Mufflers – 2-1/2 inch inlet / 2-1/4 inch outlet (OEM-style tone)
Note: Stainless steel systems require 4–6 weeks for fabrication.
Optional Upgrades:- Turbo Mufflers – For a deeper, more aggressive tone
- Universal Clamp & Hanger Kit – Mild steel
All tubing is compression bent to replicate factory pipe routing for proper fitment and appearance. While minor imperfections may occur from the fabrication process, each system is tailored for enthusiast-level builds and local car show quality.
Aluminized Steel:- Tubing: 14–16 gauge
- Mufflers: 18 gauge
- Tubing: 304 stainless steel, 14 gauge
- Mufflers: 409 stainless steel, 18 gauge
- Designed for use with OEM exhaust manifolds only
- If you are using aftermarket headers or oversized piping, the front pipes will require cutting and modification
- In these cases, the system is sold as-is and not covered under warranty
Professional installation is recommended, as minor adjustments may be necessary during fitment.
Return & Warranty Policy:Due to material and labor cost increases, refunds are not offered. However, we stand behind our craftsmanship and will provide complimentary re-bending if your system was fabricated incorrectly under the following conditions:
- You are using OEM manifolds
- Accurate vehicle information was provided at the time of order
- Request must be made within 14 days of delivery
- System must be unused, unaltered, and in original packaging
- 15% restocking fee applies
- Any corrections required due to inaccurate vehicle details are the customer’s responsibility

Shipping
We utilize UPS, Fedex, and USPS for all of our shipping needs. Carrier choice is based upon availability and needs of the customer and is the sole discretion of SouthernCarParts. We always try to ship within 24 hours of order placement (do to the custom nature of some products, shipping within 24 hours is impossible, actual shipping time frames will be listed in the product description). Please keep in mind that some products such as Custom Fit Car Covers, Lloyds Floor Mats, Painted accessories, and Racemesh Products can take 3 -10 days to ship and are charged at time of order placement. Racemesh products take 4 weeks to ship as they are made to order.
Returns
Should you need to return a part for refund, exchange, or credit, please contact our returns department within 30 days of purchase at orders@southerncarparts.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Most problems, such as installation, can be solved with a telephone call (888-631-1433). Southern Car Parts will not accept returned goods without prior authorization and an RMA# written clearly on the exterior of the box. The customer is responsible for freight on all return orders. Parts authorized to be returned, on a non-exchange basis, are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the original date of shipment. Custom painted parts - Once these parts are started, we can refund you less the paint(chemicals) that have been used. Exception is rear spoilers and front splitters, we can refund less 20%.
Custom-made-to-order items are NOT returnable. This includes embroidered floor mats, interior embroidered items, and car covers.
Damages in Shipping
All damages from shipping must be reported to Southern Car Parts within two business days from tracking number delivery confirmation. After two business days, damages become the responsibility of the customer.
