Clean surface with a mild detergent or dishwashing fluid until you completely remove all grime and oily residues left behind from Armoral or similar products. Clean it regardless of whether you used Armoral, similar products or not. Failure to do so will result in insert poor adhesion which will follow.
We advise you to install a piece of scotch tape on the surface to test how clean your bumper really is. If the scotch tape doesn't stick well to your bumper surface then that means that further cleaning is necessary. Repeat cleaning procedure until you get the desired result. Only then you should attempt to install the insert, as you don't want to ruin the adhesive on your insert. Safe install between 60° to 80° with 40% to 50% or less humidity is needed for proper adhesion.
* Clean the bumper with mild detergent to remove all oil and grime.
* If Amoral has been previously applied to the surface area, further cleaning with stronger detergent will be needed.
* Align insert over the grooves on your corvette's bumper and apply it over.
* After installation insert looks small or out of place, re-alignment will be necessary. Insert is made to make a perfect fit.
Failure to properly clean the area prior to application will result in poor adhesion of insert. No Free replacements will be given for improper installation.

Humidity is no more than water particles in the air, and when the air is saturated with water at a high percentage it will affect not only the effectiveness if the adhesive agent of inserts just as of any other adhesive in general. Not only that but our vehicles run hotter and so does aircraft and even us humans get affected by this natural phenomenon. Therefore in Summer weather mostly this will be a factor in most states in the US. As humidity can be a factor on a successful installation we must advise you of its effect on any insert installation.

You should only install any insert when the weather is cool and almost no humidity, open your vehicle windows and allow it some time to ventilate throughout it. Dry or nearly dry weather would be the perfect climate. If the current weather in your area is carrying high humidity, it would be suggested to wait a few days until humidity percentage lowers to 40-50% Heat itself should not be a factor on a successful installation.
